Only finished video exports count toward your quota, measured by actual rendered video duration rounded up to seconds. Scene previews and timeline edits are completely free.

What counts as narration usage?

Narration characters include all characters and spaces sent for speech generation. Sources that already generated speech in scene previews are not double-charged during full video rendering.

Does ClipBuddy include AI automation?

Current plans focus on fast, controlled short-form video creation with automated speech synthesis, captions, and overlays. Additional generative AI features may be added in future updates.

What happens if I reach my plan limit?

If you reach your project limit, render minutes, or narration character allowance, you can upgrade your plan or wait for your monthly cycle to reset.
